For the past 2 days, I was at Bukit Jalil participating in Malaysian Paintball Official Circuit (MPOC) league. I was a guest players for Oscar Legion X or OLX for short, thinking of it I could say I am a regular guest player for OLX.
On Saturday we start our game as early as 8am, we had, I could say an easy draw for prelimanary rounds for OLX. To sumarize the day of 10 games that we played, we lost only 3 games. Syukur Alhamdulilah, we managed to qualified to quater final which will be play on Sunday.
And on Sunday, we were group with Urban Rush (KL), PPS Syndrome (Sarawak) & Red 7 (Singapore). We were top of our group with 3 win out of 3, and in semifinal we meet Ghost Destructor. Where in prelim, we lost to Ghost Destructor and we can seek our revenge. We start our game in semi with a win, but on 2nd game unfortunately we lost to them. But we came back on the 3rd game, by beating them and automatically qualify to final.
We are one more step to be champion of MPOC in D3 and Red 7 is in our way. On the final game, after careful planning, we managed to overcome of the threat from Red 7. And after 2 days of paintball and playing 18 games overall, we are CHAMPION!
It was fun weekend for me....
And would like to say thank you to OLX for inviting me to play & being part of champion team.

For the love..........
For the love of paintball, I am willing to be up at 6am to be part of MY-NPL on MHI TV3. The segment on MHI is not only informing to viewers about MY-NPL 3rd round in Kuantan but also promoting Paintball. Awe & Manggo from Nemesis, Am & Suffian from Delta Rovers and me with Ari from Wolverinez 'participated' in this event. At 8.20 'our' segment begins, so all of the players started to shoot at each other, dry frying. We do all the stunts, snap shooting, bunkering, etc except sliding laaa....
Fitri (i think so la) interviewed Abg Pian, Awei and Azman (Manggo) live while the players countinued 'shooting' each other. The funny part was - when Awe (Nemesis) 'threw' a hand grenade and his action was caught live on tv! I was laughing behind my mask and trying hard not to roll and laugh my head off. After that we had our complimentary meal from MHI, btw i managed to 'piss off' Fly FM Announcers (DJ's) by showing my cap with SINAR FM logo, that was a blast!!!
Well it was a fun day, hopefully we can do it again.....

Nanti tumpah.....
This morning my eldest child, Ammar, who is turning 4 next month was lying down on his tummy - having his cereal breakfast in front of the TV, my maid saw and said to Ammar jangan baring ketika makan. He quickly answered back to bibik, "Nanti kalau Ammar duduk nanti cornflake tumpah Mummy marah, kalau Ammar baring tak tumpah", I laugh at his reply & ponder on his logic.....

One Corner, 5 hours drive, 20 minutes meal & kids new shoes
As school holidays arrive, I believe most of you do get wedding invitations, it could be your family members, relatives or friends. And the location could be next door, or even in other states. And we were not singled out from getting invited too, with the bride, the bride's brother and the bride's bosses are my wife's friends.
So on the King's Birthday, we hit the road 5 minutes before 10am. It was a clear & warm morning, my wife especially, was quite excited as she had a hetic month at the office and need to unwind a little bit. We took the PLUS highway to drive down to Muar, although the road was full of cars, but still acceptable jam where i managed to drive bout 80-90km/h.
My nightmare began when we passed by Sg. Besi Tol, and the cars started to jam up one behind each other, so it began, slow drive towards down south. And I was hopping that it will end shortly; i was wrong, big time!!!! I only managed to drive the car less than 30km/h from Sg.Besi Tol to Nilai, with my kids started to feel restless, crying for milk and desperately need a diaper change. And my patience started to thin out, i too, began to grumble & complaining to my wife. I have been driving about 2 and a half hours and we only reached Nilai, and there was still a long way to go.
The funny thing is that - there was one corner on PLUS highway exactly after the Nilai exit, the bend was not sharp enough to make cars slowing down, i could say u can still drive within the speed limit without causing any mishap, but the jam ended just after that particular corner. No sign of whatever it was causing the jam. WTF???
So we continue our journey towards Muar, i encountered more jams, which mostly exiting to Malacca - which was still acceptable! After driving more than 5 hours for 197km, we finally reached our destination, and it seems that we were not alone being stuck in the jam, actually there was a convoy of 10 more cars arrived 15 minutes later than us. And we were talking & complaining the same thing, the jam!!! So much of a wedding excitement, the jam became the hot topics to many of the guests. it was also the ice breaker to start a conversations.
I was hungry & tired, i quickly find a place to sit, and help myself with the food. After 20 minutes arrived, it was the time for us to head back home!!! But this time i was more prepared with the jams. had to say that i agree with William Shakespere - "Presence fears, are less than horrible imagining". fortunately it was a smooth drive till we stopped at Restoran Jenjatas Ayer Keroh, there we had A&W's famous Rootbeer Float, to quinch our thirst and also we bought Adidas and Nike shoes for the children at Al-Ikhsan's clearance sale. At least, these are cool momento we brought home from the trip!! We are talking about real-cheap-children's-branded-sports-shoes, man!
We reached home about 9pm. Tired and worn out, we slept early that nite...
